Retention

When we remove your braces, we will begin the retention stage of your treatment. We understand that maintaining your unique identity, even as it relates to orthodontic appliances, is important. That’s why we provide nearly 30 color options for you to choose from. The color palate below gives you an idea of the color choices available.

The retention phase lasts for a minimum of 24 months. During the first year of the retention stage, you should wear your retainer fulltime. You should wear your retainer nightly during the second year, and 3-4 nights per week for the rest of your life.

Remember to remove your retainer before brushing and eating. Be sure to brush your retainer before placing it back in your mouth. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far.
